Sergey has been hiking the mountains of Kazakhstan’s Altai since childhood, so he knows every corner of the region.
He’s the heart of any group: full of stories and legends, always ready to give advice – or, if needed, to carry you on his strong shoulders across a roaring river!
VYACHESLAV
Altai Mountain Guide
An experienced mountain guide and an adventure guide across East Kazakhstan..
Kayaking instructor, NLI certified ski instructor, freeride guide, and snowmobile guide/instructor in the mountains of Western Altai.
Professional ethnic drummer (darbuka, djembe, etc.).
In the group, he’s the life of the party.
PAVEL
Mountain Guide, Outdoor Chef
Pavel has many years of experience running mountain programs across Kazakhstan and Russia.
In winter he works as a professional rescuer – for 12 years he has served at the Shymbulak ski resort, where he attends first-aid courses annually.
Worked as camp director for the “School of Wilderness Survival.”
Has taken part in many major outdoor sports events.
Currently training toward mountaineering qualifications.
An excellent outdoor-format chef!
Loves collecting and drying mountain herbs.
In his free time, he can tell you a lot about herbs – or teach a masterclass on tying knots.
LYUBOV
Tourism Instructor, Mountain Guide
Lyubov comes from the Chakilev family of lifelong travelers.
She’s been in the mountains since early childhood. Trained as a tourism instructor, interpreter (English), alpine ski instructor, pharmacist, and psychologist.
Organizer and mountain guide on many routes in East Kazakhstan, including multi-day self-supported hikes since 2018.
EVGENIY
Mountain Guide (Altai)
Evgeniy is a very experienced guide. He completed advanced training as a mountain-tour guide and is a Candidate Master of Sport in sport climbing.
He has led dozens of programs of different difficulty levels in the Altai Mountains.
His style: calm, balanced, and thoughtful.
